Happy Half-Birthday Lila!

Oh how time flies.  It is hard to believe it has been six months since beautiful Lila was born, but you can't argue with the calendar.  Or with this adorable face.

We are certainly still learning how to juggle the needs and wants of two girls.  Norah has become at bit more high maintenance in some areas (like going to bed), though that has been balanced off by some positive movement in others (like eating vegetables without giving you a death stare while she does it).  Lila is a much happier baby now than she was 3 months ago, when night-time colic was the norm.  And that makes it much easier to appreciate just how sweet she is.

Of course, about three months ago I said I was going to do better about blogging in the future.  Little did I know that 5 days after that optimistic remark we would get an offer on our house (finally!), causing a whirlwind of haggling with our buyers, house hunting, packing, etc.

Now we are living in an apartment in Fort Worth shopping for a home that will hopefully suit us for the next 15-20 years.  Apartment life actually isn't that bad; the girls are enjoying it fine, and the dogs are enjoying being walked 4-5 times per day.

Nevertheless, we've found time to have some fun since April.  For instance, Lila, Norah and I made a trip to Lake Toxaway, North Carolina to vacation with the Nashville Denneys. Pictures here:

And a few other cute pictures that were uploaded to the blog, but never posted. Until now...

Lila's first jaunt around Fort Worth for the Race for the Cure 5k.  Due to some crying, it turned into about a 1.5k.
