Hi everybody! To those that haven't heard, Lila Alene Denney arrived at 1:27 p.m. on Thursday, January 7! She arrived at 7 pounds 6 ounces, 20 inches long, and beautiful. Lila and Mama are doing well, even if sleep has been a bit hard to come by the past few days. Norah has been quite happy to have Baby Sister Lila around, and has exceeded our expectations so far in the excited v. jealous ratio. Sure, this will change soon, but until it does we're riding the happy wave for as long as we can.
Thanks to everyone for their kind words and generosity so far, and to those that hadn't heard yet, I'm sorry! It's been a bit busy around the Denney home.
And yes, we will have to change the name of the website and blog, won't we? It's not just the Monkey Girl anymore.

Norah is three, and Lila is 9 months old. To summarize in brief, the only reason we have a lack of posting is due to lack of time, not lack of material.
